Da Nang Port - Vietnam Vietnam posted a record trade deficit of US$11.1 billion in the first four months of 2008, driven by a sharp hike in oil and gas, construction materials and fertiliser imports, officials said Friday. Imports from January to April reached US$29.4 billion, up 71% year-on-year, while exports amounted to US$18.3 billion, up 27.6%, the General Statistical Office (GSO) said.
